KJ Equine was founded by sister team Katharine and Julia Stento. We offer equine training, sales, young horse development, instruction for riders and horses of all levels in hunter, jumper, and dressage disciplines.

JULIA STENTO
In her teaching and riding practices, Julia employs a methodology combining equine kinesiology and classical dressage to help strengthen horses and riders of all disciplines. She has been hired by top FEI show jumpers to train 5* mounts functional dressage, producing clear and fast rounds, healthy and strong horses, and better communication between horse and rider. She provides services out of Mattapoisett MA and the surrounding New England region in the summertime, and Ocala FL during the winter circuit.
Julia is a rising FEI dressage and show jumping rider with experience in all equine disciplines. She is our head trainer, equine appraiser, and lesson instructor, and has successfully ridden and sold many sport horse prospects. She has competed and won at top shows such as USDF Regional Championships, WEC, WEF, Lake Placid, HITS, and more, through PSG Dressage, High Performance Hunters, Derbies, and 1.30 Jumpers. Upon graduating Summa Cum Laude from Babson College, she began her career riding and grooming for sale barns and top show jumping riders. She presently rides and trains freelance with a myriad of clientele, including FEI riders, Juniors, Amateurs, and Instructors. Julia also offers a small lesson program for riders of all levels out of MA and FL, on and off site.
